Overview

At IPC, we simplify the strategic planning process so organizations can immediately begin working on strategic areas of improvement. We have several service provision levels depending on your chosen plan (see planning options below). Our overall strategic planning process includes:

1. Initial free consultation: During the initial consultation, we address the leader’s immediate concerns and discuss how a customized strategic plan can resolve the organization’s pain points.
2. Pre-planning consultation workshop: This phase of the planning process identifies work group leaders and outlines the information gathering process.
3. Information-gathering: The consultant gathers and analyzes information to identify the organization’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. This assessment helps leaders identify strategic areas of improvement and growth.
4. Facilitated strategic planning workshop: Based on our assessment, we will work together to develop strategic goals that align with the organization’s mission, vision, and core values. This process involves a facilitated planning session with leadership team members and other stakeholders to ensure that everyone is committed to the strategic direction.
5. Goal setting and action planning: As part of the strategic planning process, we help leaders develop and finalize specific and measurable goals for the organization. Beyond this, we help them to agree on action plans and proven strategies to achieve strategic goals.
6. Performance metrics and evaluation: To ensure that your organization is making progress toward its goals, we establish performance metrics and evaluation criteria that measure success. Performance evaluation also assists leaders with making any necessary adjustments to the strategic plan.
7. Implementation accountability and follow-up support: Once the strategic plan is completed, IPC can provide implementation support to ensure that the plan is effectively executed. Depending on the plan you choose, we can provide extended follow-up support and guidance to help your organization stay on track and achieve its long-term goals.
